We study a director’s entire career, one film at a time. In each episode, we discuss why a single film succeeded or failed and examine it in the context of the Hollywood landscape when it was released. We’re the academic, but fun, movie podcast!
In our second season, we’re turning the spotlight on Billy Wilder, one of the most influential directors of all-time.
